With Sympathy

My Godfather passed away earlier this week and I wanted to send my Godmother a card to let her know I'm thinking of her. He lived in AZ and she lives in IL, so I'm not able to be there in person. I decided to use one of my Papertrey Ink sets and a design that Julie from Paper Pleasing Ideas posted on her blog the other week. It was using a stamp to create your own background.

I used the Anniversary set Papertrey sent to qualifying customers - Simple Little Things. Using the stamp-a-ma-jig, you can create the background quite quickly.

Supplies:
Stamps: Simple Little Things (Papertrey Ink)
CS: Blue Bayou, WW
Ink: Blue Bayou
Other: Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon (SU!), Stamp-a-ma-Jig

Beautiful card, I am on a quest to have several Sympathy cards on hand for those hard times. I am sure your hand made card will bring a smile to the recipient, and that is what stamping is all about. Great job!
