Quick and Easy Gift - Notecards

Since I have been super behind on gift/card making this year (ok, this is every year *wink*), these were the gifts that I made for the girl's teachers this year. I took Whisper White card stock and added a piece of patterned paper edge. Before adhering the patterned paper, I punched a circle in the center with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch. Then I stamped the circle in the turquoise and the monogram in Chocolate Chip (both are from Papertrey Ink) - Ambassador Monogram and Borders and Corners Monogram. I boxed them up with envelopes in the clear boxes that Papertrey Ink offers as well. I figured that the teachers would be able to use these as thank yous or 'just because'.

Supplies -
Stamps: Ambassador Monogram, Borders and Corners Monogram (Papertrey Ink)
CS: WW, Basic Grey Papers
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip
Other: 1 3/8" Circle Punch (SU!), envelopes (not shown), clear boxes (not shown)

Baroque Gift Exchange Set

One of the groups I'm on - I had signed up for a gift exchange. This time around we needed to decorate a tin for our partner and include goodies in it for her. So, this is the tin and items I made for my partner. I used a new 2007 stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Baroque Motifs. I didn't preorder this set at first, but after seeing so many awesome things done with it, I knew I just had to have it! I really love it and have been using it tons!

Onto the items above - I used the new Brocade Designer Paper on my projects as well. Included in the tin - a covered flower frame, notebook, heart tin, circle tin (included the new Rhinestone brads and Eggplant ribbon), and the paperclip. I also included a couple items that my partner had wished for - stampin' dimensionals, bone folder, and rose grosgrain ribbon.

Hope she likes this and the goodies - being that I was late in sending it to her.

More Goodies

Ok - I have the absolute BEST friends evah!!! Seriously - my girls take care of me and know how to cheer me up!! This awesome assortment of goodies was sent to me by my best friend, Rachel (hey girl!!). I used to go to her house all the time so the kids could play (ok, so we could play really!). Then they moved for her DH's job. :( I've missed her terribly and the boys too! Thank you so much girl! You really have no idea how this made my day!!! THANK YOU!! I love all of these goodies and can't wait to play with them. And YES - I do plan to do a layout using the pictures you took ages ago of Trenton and I. Thank you Lynne!

I had a friend over the other day to stamp. We were working on swaps (I know - what else!). Anyway - she shows up at my house with all these goodies for me!!! I was totally shocked! I truly appreciate all the goodies Lynne! She got me stamps, Stickles, Glitter Gel Pens, candles, and a cute little pail that she put it all in.

I've been meaning to post this since she gave it to me, but life had other plans for me. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart Lynne!! *grin*

More Primas

I made this to go along with the 'Friend Accordion' in the previous post. I was very late in sending her the challenge, so I made both of these up to send as well. I altered a Band Aid tin I got in my Monthly Kit from EbbCreations. These are definitely too cute and I think I'll need to find some more. :)

Supplies:
Stamps:Mixed Bouquet, Small Sayings (SU! Winter Mini)
CS:WW, Cranberry Crisp, Recollections Designer Paper
Ink:Cranberry Crisp, True Thyme, Basic Black
Other:Band Aid Tin, Prima Flowers, Cranberry Stitched Ribbon, Mini Glue Dots, Crystal Stickles, Aqua Painters (to blend the ink on the flower and leaf), stamping sponge

Now - after seeing these I really need to send some Primas my friend Rachel's way. :) Yes girl - I've got them for you...I keep telling her I will send them and haven't yet.

Coaster Ornaments

I had so much fun making these. I needed to make a baby gift item for a swap I am in. Well, I decided to make these for the swap. This is the front and back. These are covered coasters. The front is where you put the baby's picture (in this case) and the back is for the 'statistics'. Then you can use these to hang on a Christmas tree, hang in the baby's bedroom, hang in your office, wherever!

I loved how these turned out!! I am seriously thinking of doing a class on these. It would be so much fun!!
